Shouldn't Tom be there???

What about tom? i think huck needs more support then jim... He needs his good ole pal Tom to help him make it through his hard times.

    actually, Tom is a trouble maker. Although he may be able to boost Huck's spirits, he would make many of the situations they faced even more dangerious. Remember, Huck asks himself and Jim what Tom would do, and then he does something foolish. Still, for the sake of adventure, I miss Tom too.

    Tom is always mentioned with Huck when people talk about this book. But after the first few chapters, he is taken completely out of the book. Yes he makes situations more dangerous, but who wants to read a book where nothing bad happens? That would be boring.
