Those Paintings?!?
I really want to know what happened to that one lady in those paintings!!! I'm wondering how she died and the meaning behind these paintings. Will they talk more about them later on in the book? I feel like they just left me hanging by just talking about the paintings a little but not fully explaining them.

Thank you! i completley agree. It is kind of frustrating how Mark Twain does that. He left the secret of the family feud hidden for a while, and when he finally told about the problem, it still didn't help! Hopefully he does a better job explaining the death,. if he explains it at all that is.
