Side Journeys

Ok so between the dukes and the random romeo and juliet thing i decided that this book likes to take random side journeys. I dont understand why this stuff is in it but i think they are kinda funny.

    Perhaps those "random side journeys" are intentional. The whole plot is kind of like the river the two main characters follow, and there is a lot of random stuff you'll find in a river.
