boring

to me this book is kinda boring. i imagined this book with alot of adventure. there is a lack of adventure through this whole book. the only adventure is when huck ran away.
unless i am missing something.
there needs to be more adventure.

  1. i disagree. I feel lilke there is a lot of adventure. They come across robbers, criminals, a fued of neighbors, and many others. I agree that it seems slow and too exciting, but there is definitley a lot of adventure.

  2. It's kinda depressing that Huck is trying to avoid the widow. He's even trying to avoid his father who is drunk much of the time. He tries to make it look like he's been murdered, and then goes on his raft to begin a new life. He finds Jim Parker on an island. Huck doesn't know whether to turn him in or let him stay free. He spares Jim and the two form a friendship.

  5. its all in what you precive rather than what others tell you. to me, its a dull book. i just find it funny how huck runs into all of this trouble and gets away with murder just about, figuratively for all you literals out there..

  6. I agree that the book does kind of lack adventure. Huck faking his death and running away was about the only adventurous thing. Other than that it's just him being out on his own doing pretty much the same thing over and over.

  9. To me this book is about Huck's life and what happens in this part of it. Huck has already had more action and adventure than most of you guys that have been commenting. In my opinion this book isn't so boring if it's just telling abou this one part of his life that's filled with more action than ours so far.
