The Murder
Huck gives Jim all the credit for having a great imagination when he staged his own death perfectly. I don’t think Huck gives himself enough credit. He didn’t expect for everyone to be after Jim for his murder. So now they’re living on an island all alone except for the dead man they found..how did he die? What was he doing there? Who killed him? Sometimes this book doesn’t explain enough and its really irritating.

Well maybe the deadman is an example of foreshadowing because he will make a point sometime later in the story. Also, the dead man was in a house dead and not just randomly on an island. The story also leads to the point that he was most likely killed by a couple men either over a drunken poker game or a simple drunken mistake.
