When All Is Said And Done...

I personally had a very mixed opinion about this story. If all of Mark Twain's books have as much trouble following one continuous plot, then I don't want to read anything else by him. When one book tells you so many stories, that don't seem to really relate, I have trouble keeping up.
I also had trouble with the thick southern accent that Jim had. I understand that it adds to his character, but really? Does it have to be that bad?
All in all, I liked the main idea of the book. (Or the main idea as I see it..) A young boy running away with his friend, to find out who they really are (more or less).
