Superspicious anyone?

In the beginning of the book we found that Huck was suspicious. But now later in the book we find that Jim is as well very suspicious when he speaks about killing birds and also the thing about the bees. where if a bee owner passes the bees must be told of the death by sun up by the next day or the bees would grow lazy and die. There is also evidence that he believes in good luck. he believes that if a man has hairy chest or arms he will be rich. then he explains that he has been rich before, he had 14 dollars. But he lost all the money.
