Tom Sawyer!


I just wanted to contribute a whole post to one of the greatest songs ever: Tom Sawyer by Rush. Even though the lyrics don't really have much to do with Tom Sawyer, I think the lyrics are interesting. He describes a man today, being like Tom Sawyer, having wit, pride, and stride. Even says "the river!" This is just a personal preference for a great song and being on this blog always made me think of it.
Oh and the drum solo after the guitar solo is so freaking gnarly.

    Isn't this book about the adventures of Huckleberry Finn?

    ...but don't get me wrong, I bet the drum solo is nice..

    I agree with that notion. This song is the appitimy of awesom songs....Besides its harder than crap to play on expert...Rock Band Rocks!...Peace Sucks

    This is pointlesss to the book that we are reading. And plus we are not even in band/music class. This is English. And in English we are reading The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

    None the less Rush is an amazing band. One of the best 3 piece bands ever, and dont even say ZZ Top compares as a 3 piece band because they don't.

    what is wrong with people???? they cant just appreciate the RUSH gesture? who cares, its a blog. you write about whats on your mind. maybe he was in a RUSH mood and thought he would write about it! holy crap.... i support the guy who posted the picture! honestly, who cares.. its a blog. I like the book to, but the song and the band both enslave the book! RUSH RULES!

    "babysealbeater" needs to calm down... i agree with huff i mean "zoey101pwns" he is just making a refrence to the book trying to spice things up instead of posting boring post about this book he is making it interesting and research different things about Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn... so i admire you zoey101pwns...

    Um ok but we are reading the BOOK The Adventures of Huck Finn. So that song really has nothing to do with this blog or the class but hey I do like the fact that you were thinking outside the box(or book) So thanks for doing something different.
