a brand new relationship

I thought it was pretty interesting when Huck found Jim in the woods because I never would have suspected that he would have run away. But then again..who would have ever had the thought of a well treated black slave running away go through their mind? When Huck and Jim meet and begin compromising to survive in the woods, it shows a major growth in their relationship as friends. The picture to the left shows the moment when Jim and Huck are traveling down river on their raft away from the island. I really like this part of the story because it becomes real descriptive as they barely begin their raft adventure..
